Nurture Nest can provide assessment and reporting in order to support your access to NDIS or Early Childhood Early Intervention funding if it is deemed appropriate given your child’s therapy needs.

Details of funding options are given below.

Supporting children and their families to communicate, connect and thrive.

National Disability Insurance Scheme – NDIS

Clients who have NDIS funding under either ‘Plan Managed’ or ‘Self-Funded’ management categories can access services at Nurture Nest. Nurture Nest provides specialist support under the Early Childhood Intervention scheme, as well as the NDIS for children over 7 years.

Nurture Nest fees are aligned with the current NDIS price guidelines.

Private Health Funds

If you have private health insurance you may be able to claim a rebate. Nurture Nest Speech Pathology will provide you a receipt following your session to claim through your health fund. Rebates vary between different health funds and we advise you to check with your fund prior to making your appointment.

Health funds generally pay a rebate on assessments which may be useful for you if you’re aiming to support you in seeking a diagnosis or acquiring funding and supports.

Medicare

The Chronic Disease Management Plan (Enhanced Primary Care Plan)
Nurture Nest Speech Pathology is fully registered with Medicare and you are able to claim rebates for assessment and therapy if your GP or Paediatrician refers you via the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) initiative. Currently rebates are available for up to 5 sessions per calendar year. Your GP will discuss how many sessions they are referring you for and for what reason. Generally, an EPC is used to see more than one allied health or medical practitioner and is aimed at assessing and planning intervention for more complex needs.

Please contact your GP to discuss whether you and/or your child may be eligible.

Helping Children with Autism Initiative
